How to Fix Samsung's Battery Drain and Overheating Problem?

Poor battery problem is a thorn to some smartphones, which will result in battery drain and slow charging as well as overheating. The so-called biggest Android phone manufacturer Samsung is no exception. Smartphone batteries don't last forever, those big AMOLED and LCD screens and taxing apps are an obvious drain on your battery, but there are lots of things you can do behind the scenes to make your Android Samsung mobile last longer. Let’s explore how to fix battery drain and overheating problem.
Given that almost all of Samsung devices don’t have removable batteries since 2015, most of them are roughly 3000 mAh though, a handful of battery-consumption apps installed in the device or other useless settings will shorten battery life. Leverage some of the tips below to optimize your Samsung battery and get the most out of your phone.

Black wallpaper
Black wallpaper can increase battery life because AMOLED screens only illuminate the colored pixels. Samsung devices has an AMOLED screen, you should use a dark-colored background. Black pixels are unlit, so the more black pixels you have, or the more darker pixels, the less power is needed to light them up.

Keep the apps updated
When an update message for apps pops up, it means that the memory or battery needs optimization. Please don’t let the apps on the Samsung device fall behind the time. Also, please delete the apps you don’t use any longer to free up space and save battery.

Stop using auto/adaptive brightness
This is one of the best ways to improve your battery life, because the screen is one of the biggest battery suckers.

Set the phone to Airplane mode
You can set your phone to airplane mode when you're asleep, at work, at meeting or any other time when you don’t use the phone for a long time. In this way can you prevent battery draining behind by switching off the Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Activate Battery Saver Mode
Usually, you have a lot of applications running and you do not need them constantly. Activating power saver mode on your Samsung will stop the unused apps from draining the high amount of battery behind.

Actually when you optimize the phone battery, you will also fix the battery problem. But there are also other tricks to prevent overheating.

Charge the phone in a place which is not too hot.
Too hot environment will burst battery when charging the phone, and the battery will make the phone overheating.

Clear cache
To enter recovery mode, hold the Power, Home, and the Volume Up buttons together. You will be prompted with the recovery mode screen. Then choose “wipe Cache Partition” by pressing Power button, confirm it, and then “reboot system now”.

If you are afraid this “clear cache” process will wipe your data, you can backup or recover the files from Samsung to PC first.

The tips mentioned above are all very pragmatical regarding battery drain and overheating problem.
